Let me tell you a little about myself. I have spent the last five years teaching in New York City. I grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey. I went to the University of Maryland and am a huge fan of both their football and basketball teams. After college I went to Atlanta, Georgia for four years and taught third grade there as well as getting my Master’s Degree in Reading at Georgia State University. I missed home a lot so I decided to come back and taught 2nd Grade as well as being a Reading Specialist for three years. I am so happy to bring my talents to the seventh grade classroom.
I am a huge sports fan and love the Mets and the Giants. I also love doing arts & crafts. I hope I can bring all my interests into the classroom and encourage your children to do the same.
